How many of us waited for 2021 to start new plans? What do you want to create this year?
We want to start off the new year with our creator of the week and the first creator for 2021! This is a team of designers (http://www.7designsstudio.com.au/) from Australia. We liked their website and have asked them five questions:
Who are you, and what do you do?
We are a UX/web design and graphic design trio: Ken, Cynthia, and Ihsan. We love what we do and are into meeting clients’ needs. Cynthia is actually very talented; she was awarded a design scholarship in college and has been a designer for over 10 years now. I’m an award-winning UX/UI designer (by luck!) and have been in the web industry for over 10 years. Ihsan is a very talented designer who has won multiple awards.
How did you get started?
I got my start with practicing web designs through private tutoring. Then, I was taken on as an intern, and the rest is history.
Cynthia got started in fashion design and moved into graphic design. Ihsan started in college as a front-end developer and then moved on to design.
What sets you apart?
The client-centered service approach is what I think sets us apart. We just want our clients to succeed. Money is not a driver.
What obstacles did you have to overcome?
Marketing—oh, that is an area designers really struggle with, but it’s worth the effort.
Do you have any tips for other creators?
It really depends on the nature of your business. If you are into product lead generation, include plenty of calls to action, content on how it works, testimonials, etc. We wanted a simple design that would showcase our work. IM Creator is so flexible that it can do both and just about anything!
